Hi 7th Ward Young Women!

Thanks for checking out our blogspot! We thought this would be a great way to post news about activities and also PICTURES of different things that we've done, like CAMP and YOUTH CONFERENCE! We hope you'll visit often and leave comments if you'd like.

It's called "We've Got Your Back" for a very important reason. Do you remember in the movie "Napoleon Dynamite" when Napoleon and Pedro are sitting in the bleachers at the baseball fields and Napoleon says to Pedro, "So. we're friends now, right?" Pedro replies with, "Yeah, I guess so." Napoleon then says, "So, you've got my back?" Even though Pedro didn't quite know what that meant, he and Napoleon were faithful friends and helped each other through lots of dorky situations (think buying a suit at the DI, buying a lottery ticket, asking girls to Prom, and, of course, running for SBO!).

We all need to know that there's someone we can turn to who will accept us for who we are and won't judge us, shun us, or talk badly about us behind our backs. Sometimes, we need someone to stick up for us if someone else is being unkind. It doesn't mean we all have to be best friends or hang out together all the time. It just means that we're watcing out for each other and lending a hand when we need it and, for sure, never back-biting! Please watch each others' backs--we're all on the same team!
